Raised in a family of antique collectors in Sweden, Nicolas was surrounded by rare beauty from an early age. Traveling extensively when growing up allowed Nicolas to transform every destination into a journey of personal discovery, and come to use his experiences to refine his unique vision of style and restrained elegance.

The trajectory of Nicolas' artistic path was further shaped by attending art school at an early age in Lund, Sweden (1996) and earning higher degrees in design in Rhode Island in the US (2005) and Porto, Portugal (2012).

His work as been featured in Elle Décoration, Harpers Bazaar and Forbes and earned him global collaborations with high end furniture brands including Minotti in Milan and Audo in Copenhagen.

He is currently based in Prague where he since 2017 runs design studio Médecine with his wife Nina.
