Beginning with aged paper allows its weathered texture and subtle patina to establish a deep, historical ground. Upon this foundation, three distinct, highly-pigmented shades of cadmium red are applied in successive, overlapping layers.
The piece is custom framed in a finely crafted waxed Oak frame and protected by museum-grade acrylic glass.
